She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship from Louisiana State University, Shreveport.
Earlier, she had completed her MBBS Degree from JLN Medical College, Ajmer, India.
She is a member of the National Kidney Foundation and the American Society of Nephrologists.
